Dear god you are a real piece of work you know,
allowing me to be born into this world.
For a life with many twist and turns,
stretching 47 years now.
Born in a part of the world,
where they have this saying:
From the concert of life,
nobody receives a program.
It kept the suspense going,
but as lately the suspense is getting to much.
Sometimes I am like a joker,
in the game of life.
And it got me by for long,
but god now I am realizing.
I spent 47 years living in solitude,
47 years preferring that solitude.
I thought it would make me strong,
and self reliant.
But I am more and more convinced,
my life is like one note in a piece of music.
Maybe I wanted to find a sympathetic note all along,
to start a real good piece of music.
And I cannot longer bear the thought,
of being this solitary note.
For that does not make a piece of music,
the kind of music to listen to.
God I must be definitely be noteworthy,
for you to sent me out here.
I guess you knew what you did,
even though I may have my doubts.
I am just not the usual note to go around,
causing quite a suspense.
Damn I wouldn't know what to do with myself,
If I didn't find that sympathetic note.
Striking a cord making good music,
a masterpiece for all to injoy.
For you are the conductor of life,
where you lead the orchestra follows.
Sweeping away the audience,
aswel as the orchestra.
For you create only masterpieces,
of that I am sure.
So I can trust you to trust me,
to have faith in my abilities.
To perform the masterpiece,
as you intended it.
Just this suspense,
is getting to me these days.
To play my part in a concert,
from which nobody receives a program.
You keep the suspense going,
while I am in awe.
Could it be any other way,
would mean life is pretty boring.
Thanks to you I am here for 47 years now,
still not knowing what will come.
Until you conduct the play,
the play of a lifetime.
So I guess it must be worth it,
for you to have me here on earth!
