I open my mouth to speak
Trying to say
"Please don't go"
"Stay with me"
"Love me"
But no words come out
Dark bubbles of vile erupt from my lips
Poisonous
Don't touch me, don't look at me
Or it will consume you too
My heart is stuck in my throat
I'm suffocating, choking to death
Can't breath without you
But I can't call to you, can't beg you to stay
Dying, unable to ask for help
Drowning in despair
Alone
... Gone

If this would be a message from one who has lost love, I would recommend to said person, whether it be you or anyone, to cherish memories, as they are the reflective silver-lining of joy that delicately wrap our grief. If it's one of someone who can't bear to be alone, and desperately miss the one of their love and desires, to find solace in solitary being, in hopes to love the company of love even more, to know what it's like to be alone, but not frightened by it, but looking forward to the next smile and fluttering heartbeat.
Great write though. Certainly encompasses that longing for a love with ease. :) |
