Dreams are for those that are meek
Living is for those that seek
Life seems so long looking on
But it's soon gone looking back
Enjoy the days that surround you
The people and places that may find you
Live your life today while you can
The future will appear much brighter than
Put your pride aside
Go about life with an even stride
Those that are angry and hate
Learn of their failures much too late

I prefer to think of a dream as a premonition of the future or a blueprint 😆. I like the message though. Don't be too busy dreaming when we can spend that time achieving |

Many wisdoms in little space. You are thrifty with words and wealthy in meaning.
Nothing is more difficult than simplicity.
Unless it's making advice palatable!
You have succeeded at both! Well done!

//Ah, I think I might know why I forgot to comment but I can`t say it here.
Very wise words and I agree with Archie. Your poems are always easy to follow and leave the reader with something to think about. That`s why I love visiting the Jimmy S pages.
// BUTTERFLIES !!!! // Just sayin`.
