Shots Fired

Contributed by hauntedscorp on Thursday, 16th July 2015 @ 03:47:36 PM in AEST
Topic: sarcasticpoetry

Stand back I got this
Duck down and take cover
Lips aimed to take kiss
From an unfit lover

Your future is bright-
The end of a tunnel
A dimly lit light;
Hollow like a funnel

Sit up and take note:
The noose is tied to hopes
Signed; Murder She Wrote
Now you must learn the ropes.

Not only did you say bim bam boom, you wrote a poem!!!!!!!!!!

I love the way you started this. Oh so cool! It's like let someone who knows what they're doing take control. Not sure if I get the rest but that no matter to me. I still like it and was happy to see you posted a poem.

So much better to see talent over 600+ pieces of spam.

Thankies.

i admit i am confused, the beginning seems political, the
middle like someone is dying and the ending is sad with
inspiration, so happy to see you writing again!

hugs n' love nessa

Very cool in a way I don' t have the clock time to fully examine. I'll revisit.

I like it.

This little work keeps starting itself over!
Every two lines it morphs into something else entirely. The challenge is to find a common denominator, but since your write is far from common… I am happy to dance across the endless beginnings, bereft of closure, knowing that one of us knows what we are saying!

I am still in love with that very first line!!!!

And now I got meaning out of it. Woo-hoo, I aint completely brain dead!

It made me think of one of my X's for some reason.

Ever seen an eastern dude shout through a rope? There'll be no hanging in my territory!

How you do it and keep on doing it I will never know.
In awe once again.
Treasure your gift, for you truly have it.
What more can I add?
