Watching the Moths

Contributed by Northernlights on Thursday, 16th July 2015 @ 03:19:32 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Sanctuary,

Gentle breath in quiet orderly sigh draws
Guilty troubled waters to refuge.

No comfort, just pain!

Drawn from never knowing love's true kiss on blooded
And bruised flesh.

Tenderness seen and imagined across
A canyon of knowing, as life draws away
From a half light.

Weakened flesh not needed in unsaid avoidance, discarded.

For the moths are only drawn to the brilliance of a flame.

Guilt holds tides to the tips of expression as shame consumes
Feelings to the depths of the soul,

And anger snarls control.

As the utterance of weakness never was,

And gentle breath in quiet orderly sigh draws.....

I love the over-the-top brilliance to this piece.
Creatively vivid and boldly poetic. Well done!

Nothing more poetic than a moth to the flame.

"Guilt holds tides to the tips of expression as shame consumes
Feelings to the depths of the soul"

This nuance is exquisitely framed. Very well done.

Why try n bring down someone ? Does it make em feel better making others think I/'/m trash , if I was trash they wouldn/'/t feel the need to bring me down , it must be hard to stomachs someone who from what u heard should be scum but who actually by comparison highlights faults in others by being the complete opposite , like Colin said , you attract em , lol moths to the flame ,
