Why I Will Not Get Out of Bed

I will not get out of bed today
Because.....
It is cold out there.
They don't makes coats warm enough to inspire me to get out of the warm oven I have created with my own body heat.
I mean, who needs money when you can make your own heat??
I will not get out of bed today
Because...
I will have to spend an hour cleaning, brushing, spraying, rolling, applying, drinking, eating, smoking, talking,
cooking and feeding,
scrubbing and dressing,
and finally leaving
Before.....
I get to school to listen, look, learn,
memorize, catagorize, realize,
Create experiments, tests, exams,
essays, poems, prose,
projects and papers
talking about and proving
all sorts of things and arguments,
laws and lessons
properties and talents,
as well as
disabilities and failures.......
No, I will not get out of bed today, because, as my pal Jimi once said,
"I don't live today....Maybe tomorrow....
I just can't say."

Yep, I'm definitely going to have to agree with you about not getting out of bed. SO been there! Missed a lot of morning classes coz of it for a few weeks. Great poem!
