Volerò

Contributed by Good_King_Bragi on Wednesday, 28th May 2003 @ 03:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Le Muse hanno mi dato ale-
Adesso, la mia mente può
Giungere alle stelle
Sul orizzonte lontano.
Un nuovo sole ha si apparito
Davanti a me, illuminando
Un fondo di luce e fiori, subito;
Tra i palazzo di Natura e Ragione
Ora, volo senza catene-e toccherò
Il sole e la luna nel firmamento
Ascolterò allle stelle nel giro
Delle nuvole argenta nella sera.

Volerò-con cuore grato,
Per il mistero degli Saggi:
Al luce di sapienza: adesso, io canto,
Io lodo, io grido-di dono di lingue!
Volerò-alle isole nel mare,
Che non avessero stato trovata mai,
Dove le sirene ha venuto incantare
Il eroe Ulisse con loro malia
Volerò-ora io ti sono;
Senza qualche catene o confini;
La mia mente è volando lontano
In suoi pensieri e parole!

I have been curious for a long time what your poetry was about ... and had a brainstorm - cut and pasted your words into a translation site - and although they didn't come up perfectly it showed me how beautiful your poetry really is.

Is it possible to post in English as well? I was really taken with the way you write.

sincerely Jan

Just one mistake that I found throughout:

"Volerò-con cuore grato,
Per il mistero degli Saggi:
Al luce di sapienza: adesso, io canto,
Io lodo, io grido-di dono di lingue!
Volerò-alle isole nel mare"

"Volerò-ora io ti sono;
Senza qualche catene o confini;
La mia mente è volando lontano
In suoi pensieri e parole!"

Volerò means "I will want"
I think you mean "volo" in this context
meaning "I will fly"

Also line 11 first stanza:
"Ascolterò allle stelle nel giro"
"Ascolterò alle stelle in giro"

Still a good write though...
Thanks for the dedication!
