A bitter pill so often swallowed
No need to marinate in my sorrow
Brush yourself down
Slam on the brakes
We're only human
We all make mistakes
Every journey starts with a step
The ship I sailed
I never meant to wreck
I lost my way,
You lost your will
Can't dress it up with any frills
I said I'm sorry, can we just be friends?
This love affair has reached
Its natural end.
