Like Mother, Like Daughter

Contributed by ScorpionFire88 on Monday, 8th June 2015 @ 07:32:34 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Last year, you lost your mother to cancer, because she was too
Proud
Stubborn
Lost
We could have helped her, we could have saved her
If only she would have let us in before it was too late

And now it's my turn

I'm going to lose you, because you are too
Proud
Stubborn
Lost
We can help you, we can save you
But you won't let me in - soon it will be too late

And I hate you for it
I hate you so much for making me care, for letting me down, for being so damn selfish

This acid in my stomach is burning
This lump in my throat is suffocating
This pounding in my head is deafening
These tears in my eyes are blinding

I'm so angry with you
And if you go, if you give in

I will never forgive you

I know what you're going through. My mom hid her illness from us and when we found out how sick she was, it was too late. She died two years ago. I hope that your mom does decide to get treatment.

Stay strong.
I have done this myself.
Sometimes things are so out of control that
you just say no to regain control of your life.

Gentle persuasion is best on your part.
Everyone is trying to force you to do what they
want you to do and it's overwhelming.

Much dignity is lost in these situations.
God Bless
James
