new love

Contributed by FireStarter on Tuesday, 28th April 2015 @ 02:42:34 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You take my mind to a distant place
where lovers soar as their hearts race
You take my eyes and tell them to see
tell me to look in the mirror so I can see the true me
You take my hands in the palms of yours and places them on your heart
say, "you never want to be alone nor to be apart."
You take my feet and tell them to wander across the open land
so that one day we can forever be hand and hand
You take my heart and tell it that it never has to hide,
that with your love the dark feelings will soon subside
You take my soul aloft with yours and make it young again
forever be my soulmate, destination, and best friend

what a song of love…images so well colored by your words. Layer on layer you take us on a journey to the depths of your devotion.
The sweet cadence reminds me of the gentle arc of a swing under a meadow tree.
Your vows are soothing, warm and full of affection. an enchantment; a confection; a taste of the devine and best in all of us.
Loved it.

So beautiful, this love you share. You express it perfectly here. The two of you are blessed to share this bond
