Afraid to say it

Contributed by SuicidalSon on Saturday, 25th April 2015 @ 06:00:57 AM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

I'm not sure how I should start this
So I'm going with the flow
To tell you where my heart is
But I'm scared to let you know
I'm not writing as an artist
I'm not writing just for show
But this write might be the hardest
Out of all the things I've wrote

Now I'm sure you're asking why
Would I ever be afraid
Well this is my reply
I'm in fear you'll run away
There's things that I would like to hide
Rather than put them on display
But I have learned to let them ride
To have you one more day

You see I think of what you said
And I have to let it be
I want you more than just a friend
But that isn't up to me
I have these thoughts inside my head
I wish that you could see
But I'm afraid it'd be the end
And you mean much more to me

Now I'm scared I've said to much
Of how I think and feel
The times I look I want to touch
I know that's not the deal

So now I'll stop and end this here
I'll say I'm sorry I only care
My wish a heart you want to share
Or walk away and leave me there

Thank you for the reminder that in relationships, one is loved and one is the lover! The saving grace of your wonderful story is that you live to love another day!
The dilemma is-- you love from the fence top and not the sweet meadow that lies within your reach!

A gossamer illusion sustained by your choice! You must write of the next chapter when you venture forth…you have our attention!!
