Clickity clack clickity clack.
Rushing blindly down the track.
Yet we have no fear.
Cause the one who can see steers.
They say this beast runs at 200 miles.
That kind of speed wow gives us a smile.
Seated with our backs facing forward.
One could say we're going backwards.
Quietly we check our Facebook, Twitter and emails,
As if we are coasting along like a snail.
Not a single worry in the world.
Do we fear it getting derailed?
Suddenly it's black outside.
Is this the end of our ride?
Nope we're just passing through a mountain.
Bursting out the tunnel on the other side like a fountain.
We board these trains daily.
Trust the driver with our lives faithfully.
Yet when we board the spiritual train.
Our behavior boggles my brain.
We sit on the edge of our seats.
So tense ready to jump to our feet.
And facing backwards, that ain't gonna happen.
All of us want to face the front of the cabin.
Why can we trust a stranger?
But on God's train we believe we're in danger.
How on earth do we compute?
These two rides ain't the same commute.
Tell me what will it take?
To trust God with our fate.
To put our lives in His hands.
And just trust His plan.

I like the analogy. Definitely food for thought. People will get on a train or a bus and trust a complete stranger but not trust in God.
Nicely done.
