Conviction comes to me again, a being,
dressed in the shadows of the night, swaying, while you sleep.
Its sullen eyes are set ablaze with a stare that holds mine in contempt.
It points to you. Finger dark and cascaded.
I bear the weight of your body like a cross.
Your arms draped around my neck, scarfing me in your manifestations,
dripping wet with the load of your sins between my legs.
My face soaking from the stream of confessions, dragging memories in rows.
I cry for reparation, I cry for a little more time.
I go to breath but my lungs yell under the pressure of conviction,
while you sleep.
