God's Way Or The Highway....

We as God's children,
Like any other children on earth,
Want to follow our own ways.
Then we still expect His love and affection.
Furthermore we want to avoid conviction.
We walk this earth in arrogance.
Because our Father is the King.
Then we forsake him and follow the world.
Yet when things go awry.
We Christians want to sit and cry.
People all over this world
Think life is so tough.
When in fact it's quite the opposite.
Governments around the world make all these laws.
That makes life so hard when in fact they are flawed.
God sets the laws for us to live by.
There are only ten that surpass them all.
And if abided by diligently
You can commit no crime.
You can't be punished or fined.
You shall have no other gods before Me.
For God created all as far as the eye can see.
Yes and even beyond that too.
There is none greater.
Than our Father the Creator.
You shall not make idols.
Because there is no power.
That can conquer our Lord.
And beware He is jealous.
Yet He considers us precious.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
His name is so Holy it brings life or death.
And so well known they have even heard it in hell.
We can use it for salvation.
Or call upon it to save us from temptation.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
For this is the day God rested.
Not because He was tired,
But because He was happy and satisfied.
Our resting on this day is therefore justified.
Honor your father and your mother,
For in honoring them
You honor the Lord our God.
For they are God's right and left arms.
Charging them with the task of raising us and keeping us from harm.
You shall not murder.
God deems life so precious that even the thought is sin.
He will banish your soul to the depths of hell.
For your soul will be blemished with blood stains.
And forever you will bear the shame.
You shall not commit adultery.
You Adam remain faithful to your Eva.
Give to one another children.
Not pain and heartache.
All others you must forsake.
You shall not steal.
Put in your hard day's work for what you need.
Because by a man's sweat he will earn his bread.
And the right to hold up his head.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Instead uplift him in what is right.
Protect him from wrong.
After all we are all brethren
That will all live together in heaven.
You shall not covet,
Because what you have
Is what God grants you.
According to His plan for you.
God will add so you don't have to accrue.
What more could we ask for?
The only living God is our creator.
He is our salvation.
His only Son was sacrificed
So that we could have eternal life.
