Better to Have Claimed Ten Than To Not Have Done At All

I hear it again...here it comes, disguised perhaps, this time;
but strip it bare?
“I'm full of (can't say here) ideas
and puffs of wind."

I answer in my mind, (no need to hurt anyone- any time)
“I may claim I'm gonna do ten things,
but if I only make three happen,
who's done more at end of day?
Me, or you *****-slappin?”

this is like, well I got me all day to do a thousand push-ups, right then, maybe just fifty.
I like its sarcasm, it is liquid gold in the palace of fine
do nothing's at all.
My daughter likes to draw Anime all day long. She's quite good, but I'll take her out by the lake with all the reeds and say draw that. Watch the morning change into day, watch not only the sky change the shadows, imagine what
might be missed to the naked eye.
Ah, but I never get that far in explaining such things to a twelve year old going on thirteen.

Your poems point out that we are people and as such we share so many things we might easily miss not only about ourselves but about others whom it might seem difficult to connect with.

And that's very very good notion indeed! And you do it well!

Peace!.

A good point! Not much gets done if you don't do it! Action is better than a plan.
