Try

Topic: toughstuff

We make tears dry.
Why slumber in solitude to slip away?
Tell my tales hard as pavements
where my feet bled blue.
I bet this made sense to you.

You get me,

you got me.

You try

You are my open window to climb through.
It is this heavy coldness like
those runaways, those strays, returning then reverting.
But your blanket is warm.

I lay,

I rest

I try

Not hard enough…if only
we were alone instead we're just lonely.
Life is no intruder so don’t pull the trigger.
Repeat the sun rise and if it dawns...

we know

we

try

This was absolutely amazing, I embody your words as I read them because they are that strong and skilled with emotional power and expression. That to say the least is good poetry.

We try indeed, as that's the least we can do. If we don't we aren't living. Nice write. Music is a great inspiration, I can definitely say I have the same sometimes. :)

we try too hard
sometimes the tears
is all we get to show
someone
what it means to
be
just all you can
and that's alright
sometimes
that's alright
there needs to be

music is sweet keeps
us close when all there is
seems to be so far off
it soothes a weary mind
but you need to know
a good sound system

or some peoples who ain't afraid
to sing

this poem is cool and now I'm listening to Van
Morrison
and the horn section is blowing my mind away
Peace!
