greatfull to the great poets on this site who help me to be as good as i should

Topic: poets

You see great can be grating
If not combined with a fall
A cup half empty leads to pride n envy
But god fills your cup if your good
When both sides of the same coin are seen as one
john 1.11
Alpha n omega
Was is n still yet to be
That's when even the greatest become good
Just like all you self proclaimed
Code breakers at the gate greatfully made me
Peek a boo
I see you
Eyes wide shut
Eyes wide open
Too.

N you become truly greatfull
That's when all n nothing is understood
Great to be great
Even greater to be greatfull
To be good.

Some men are born great
Some men strive to achieve greatness
And some men have greatness thrust upon them

But what matters the most is not their greatness
No matter how achieved
What matters is that they become truly greatful
For gods gift of greatness
To become clean n seen
Is far greater than greatness
I have far to go
To as good as it gets
High hopes n great expectation
You know.
Good in the eyes of god

Very cool, Alice. Your inattention to grammar actually helps make the poem better than it would be otherwise. Proof, yet again, that rules are for guidance, not blind obeisance.

Intriguing write as ever. I think one of the things that keeps me coming back to this site is the variety of style and content from all the different disciples to the poetry cause.
We are nothing without an audience and an audience who appreciate all the hard work we put in is what you will always find here.

Hi there Alice

Not sure I've read you before. Let me say this what a pleasant discovery. You style attention to detail. Makes this write so wonderful to read. The message is awesome I love poetry that is about God and man. This one comes down to becoming what God wants us to be humble and grateful, stunning write. TFS. God bless

Greetings
Rus
