Churning fires of passion
Rage ever onward
Carrying the imaginative visual stimulations
Of infinite dreams, ideas, and beautiful visions
I see a pale-skinned hairless angel
With pavement wings
Soaring towards the sky
While worldly chains seek to drag her down
She has a showing of anguish
A bit of pain in which she endures
The chains press into her skin
But she intends to break free of that man-made bind
She's already gone a mile
And has many more to go
When will she reach the heavens?
No one will ever know
But her resolve does not falter
She attempts her bleak-seemed goal
I see this feat with my naked eyes
And plan to do the same myself
To leave the dirt of melting tar
And ground of burning coals

I knew it.
Great poem and very tight and concise.
Can you spare that angel? |

Applauds inspiration! Was it while sitting upon the porcelain throne? I saw a demon in the floor tile recently while there. Didn't result in a poem though.
Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Enjoyed reading this- I have often looked at patterns in the world around me and like you that gives me inspiration to write. I once wrote a short poem on a block of wood when I had no writing paper handy. |

It's funny, our wall paper in our bathroom has designs that you can make out figures in as well. However, I never wrote a poem about them either. Maybe I should, your's was pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.
