Remorse

anguished

Stuck in this fatalistic eternity,
no strength will find my way,
too lost to be found.
Where is Mercy?
What life am I living that deigns such regret?
Remorse.
Were that I could turn back the clock.
To save myself.
To prevent this long trip and fall.

A wishful fantasy for all our bad days.
'too lost to be found' - a great line. S |

Good poem. I too remember things, in my past, that I wish I could re-do. I suppose most people do too. |

Good job, will ring the bell for many. Where would we be without regrets? We should embrace our regrets and wear them as a badge of experience. Regret and remorse are proof to ourselves that we care about our mistakes. |
