POUND! POUND! POUND! There's a pounding in my skull
SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! It's taking its toll
GRIND, GRIND, GRIND...Its grinding on my nerves
CRACK, CRACK, CRACK...lets hope my brain doesn't curve
Get a hold on my emotions and shove them down
Cover them and smother them until they drown, drown, drown
Never let them loose because you'll die if you do
Keep them inside so you won't lose the real you
Never let people see the emotions that play
The inside is breaking but a smile is on your face
You feel so cold and empty when you push them down
But you have to force them down deep if you wanna stick around
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Keep your emotions at bay
CRASH, CRASH, CRASH...I want to forever stay
CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH! I hope I don't die
SHH, SHH, SHH...I don't want to have to say goodbye.
