Getting Out of My Own Head

I throw my head up and down,
And then from side to side.
My hair whips with a sonic boom,
In futile efforts to keep up
I can't get my self to leave,
The confines of my head.
So maybe if I slam the brakes,
I'll come out the other side...

Slamming brakes generally works for me. Sound advice.
I do just the opposite. I try to keep others out of my head but, they still keep trying to get in there.
