A woman's beauty

Contributed by Stefano on Saturday, 28th February 2015 @ 12:24:06 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

That resplendent glaze upon your face,
Of emancipating ferocious blaze,
Ineffable and magnificent as it may,
Reminds me, of a better day.

In the presence of that absorbing numinous,
Your face represents all that is transcendently beautiful.
With those effervescently deep blue eyes
And after a dark day without sunlight,
Your eyes could repaint all over the sky.

That superpower of severe beauty,
Has struck me down with impunity.
Leaving an ingredient of capitalizing splendor,
That now resides in my heart, at the touch, so tender.

Your beauty, so quiescent and pristine,
Unsurpassed beyond its means,
Shocked my heart, making it beating,
For you, many more times, until it has finished.

I am going to make a comment after only reading the very first line, but i promise to read the rest of the poem. That first line sent my mind for a loop! Did you really have to use the word glaze? LOL

Actually a very nice write! I would have to say you sound very educated or you had a dictionary by your side, because there is a lot of big words i have never used before. This poem makes you seem a king over peasants, looking over your garden, thinking of the woman you dream about daily!

Excellent write my friend!

I can dig it. Content and concept sound. Keep sharing- it is good to read your words. the more you write, you will have the wonderful gift of watching your very own abilities as a poet flourish and evolve. What is admired today, in time, with the softening cloth of polish that your mind is, you will see the gleam of greatness...that day is still in the future for all of us. There is no perfect poem, so we ALL search for the ideal.
