To the people of the world
here is a message I must bring to you
It’s time to change our behaviors
so the next generations can survive here too
We have done so much damage
to this planet on which we live
Using up all of all its resources
it has not much more to give
Thinking we are so smart
the educations we have, seem to make nothing very clear
It’s a minute to twelve
time to make a change needs to be sincere
It’s time to be friends and neighbors
and time to stop all the hate
We all need to focus together
making life on this planet something great
Our future generations
should be our focus at this time
Not being so very selfish
for ourselves, mountains we will climb
Notice all the problems
from man-made creations that strip planet earth
Mother Nature is trying to tell us
if we continue, the planet will need rebirth
Everyone sees the signs
but nobody wants to give a helping hand
Don’t start crying when the clock strikes twelve
and Mother Nature shows us all her final demand
So, I say to all of you
let’s stop the wars and focus on what is in need
Our precious planet is hurting
and we only watch it bleed
Let us all rise together
hand in hand, turning an enemy into a friend
The time is of this very essence
hatred and ignorance will bring us to the end

Hi Wayne
Lovely poem and true yes we humans aren't very intelligent not to speak of wisdom we lack. YeS we carry on as if we own this earth we live on and no future generation has any wright to it. We need to catch a wake up before Mother Earth knocks us into another blood group the kind that doeS not exist. God bless

| Terrific poem. But, there's no way to make friend to ISIS, without becoming a Muslim. OBAMAnation may have already defeated us with his more that doubling our Nat'l debt. Our children to the 5th generation will have to pay for our selfishness. We re-elected that monster, after seeing what he was like. |

| You are so right in this poem. better to make friends than hate those who do you wrong. I am reminded of the words of a famous comedian, Red Skeleton who said, "I don't hate my enemies, after all I made them". |
