I wish I was a
Music Man
I'd craft you a song
Sing you a tune
It would take you away
To a place that's free
What a melody
It would be
Awaken your senses
Numb your fears
With much joy
Would come the tears
It would explain
What feelings I have
That I could never convey
The usual way
A song for your ears
Words for your heart
Full of emotion
Till death do we part
If I was a Music Man
If I could sing
But just one song
I'd sing it to you
And you would be
My number one fan
And I your man
Together we'd be
One hell of a band

Nice poem, but you switch your stanzas back and forth with your rhyming, which can throw off the reader. It breaks the flow a bit. Keep on writing though, looking forward to reading more.
