A melody to hear

Contributed by Peacdrug on Tuesday, 10th February 2015 @ 01:01:25 AM in AEST
Topic: poets

Too many things in my head, so I write, it just feels right, to let the words flow from the hand on my right
When you write you are free because you create and there are no walls that you can see
If you so choose you can have a wall or three, in a triangle pattern perhaps, it is pure reaction you can just write what you see
If that’s how the story goes it is, but if not start anew and let it explode like a shaken can of pop fizz
For some reason I love to rhyme, whenever I feel tragic, I just create a melody and then I feel fine
All of my life I have had this inner melody, a song of sorts that always sings to me, letting me feel letting me be
I can't speak well, it's hard to put words together into a sentence, and then to try and utter them with any kind of resonance
It's an idea I have always had trouble with, yet I have been blessed to have a melody I will never silence always clouding my mind with a thin mist
It allows me to write like this, letting me pull a stanza or two from the cloud of words in the universe, floating above me in a light shroud, letting me pull and create another verse, for some reason I don’t know why I never I have to coherse them, they just come, I wish I knew where their origins are from but then I try not to put too much thought into it, for fear that it would disappear I would have no more melody to hear.

A very clever and creative write, masterfully constructed , one to be proud of, I would be if I had written it, I really like your style

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
