Don't hold your breath, I'm not coming back
I'm not afraid to say our relationship fell somewhat slack
There was an absence in communication right from the start
So when I say, "I'm not coming back" its straight from the heart
You're not what I want, not anymore
I could also tell I wasn't what you were looking for
You drank too much, and I hated that
So, i'm not afraid to say our relationship fell somewhat slack
A couple years in our relationship went sour
Everywhere we walked we'd seem somewhat dour
People would say, "You need to be apart".
So I packed up and left and it came straight from the heart
