The naysayer steers the wagon
While a dreamer slays a dragon
The jaded escaping the bright
as a newborn is dazzled by the light.
Once in remission, his unfavorable condition,
an avenue of precautions only feeds his exhaustion.
Fiction, alluring fiction, say no more.
Friction condensed in a tincture floating ashore.
Placing this mysterious elixir in unfavorable hands,
Cruelly anticipating the sea’s unconditional demands.
So steer on he shall, aimlessly, mindlessly,
Yet dreaming in disarray the visionary, carelessly.
