My Treasure

Contributed by Stalkee on Monday, 26th May 2003 @ 01:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I go out to see my treasure everyday
It is only, but a walk away
When I get to feeling frustrated
And have these feelings of hatred
I have to go out to this special place
To help remove the evil from my face
Because that's why it was made

With my own two eyes I see,
The beauty of this place gathering
And I stop to listen to natures hymns
It helps me not feel so bad about my sins
All these words that I have been writing
They're all true, the emotions I have trouble fighting,
This place kills them for me

So I climb up apon the highest rock
And walk over to the edge and look below
Seeing the beauty of this place
Is the best thing that's happened in my life
And I wish that I could share it with you
But this is the treasure that I know,
this is the treasure that I love

basically my "treasure" is this place thats by my house out in the woods with all these trails, and theres all these huge rocks to climb and its just really pretty out there...and theres this creek that on the other side theres this waterfall that feeds it the water and its just really awesome....well didnt know how to put what i just said into my poem exacty, but just thought id make clear what my "treasure" actually is so youre not totally lost (didnt wanna tell what it was up in the notes cause that woulda given it away! now that's no fun is it?
