Curtains open at nine thirty AM sharp
An early show for most yet not for me
I vivaciously wait backstage for the doors to open
So that my work is at once commenced
Ensemble you might consider me
Yet my role will shine as far as I can see
Scene by scene my day is made
Through the chats and classroom sessions I'm engaged in
The professors' faces of good humor
Peers and friends delighted
Even enemies compromise on my behalf
What ever effect could I have that would cause such results
Truly it is not me at all
My style and demeanor are not truly the answer
Standing out is enjoyable, fun
Yet this alone can lead to danger
All credit is given to the One who made me
The One who accentuates the light in me for His glory
Jesus is the source of all my joy, all my reason for living with vitality
As I take my curtain call pay attention to His appearance at the close of this show
