Brittle Bones & Flaky Skin

Contributed by waynster on Wednesday, 28th January 2015 @ 06:47:14 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Bones getting brittle
skin getting discolored and flaky
Missing those good ole days
being able to stand without being so shaky

Vision always a little more blurry
it’s just another change in the process of getting old
Blood doesn't circulate so good either
seems like my body is always cold

Even though the body ages
getting wearier year after year
The love in the heart for family
is one thing that is so clear

Life, just a drop in the bucket
here and gone so fast
The difference between being young or older
when young, it seems like forever life will last

The best thing to do
don’t wallow in thoughts as to why
Just live your life happily
accepting that eventually you will die

Oh what a privilege
to have accomplished all the things we have been able to do
Accepting our true fate
can sometimes be hard for me or you

Bones may be brittle
skin may be discolored and dry
Don’t allow it to burden you
enjoy every minute and don’t let time pass you by

I'm getting there too. The wrinkles seems to form over night...like, "Hi, we know we weren't here last night but we're here to stay now!"

Enjoyed this. Nicely done,

Tim
