Conquer Weakness to arrive at Greatness

Looking at those who are the best
They are constantly in motion, never rest
Everything they do, intense
And they have a hard time taking compliments
They think compliments mean they are close to their ceiling
But in this you will not get them feeling
To they are not sleeping, rest assured
Searching to find their weaknesses makes them endure
They wake up each morning and to themselves they say
"How can I raise the bar and get better today?"
They have drive, they are mean, they are cunning
Call them the lion or the gazelle, either way they wake up running
They may have all star pipes, dancing fingers or are super athletic
But the rise to the very top has more to do with work ethic
They know their results aren't simply fate
On the rise to the peak, they conquer weakness to become great.

above comment lol, was talking about sociopaths and those at the top screwing us all over earlier, most tend to be very self determined with a lazer like pinpointed focus and are prepared to go to any lengths to get where and what they want. Give the positions of responsibility to those that are humble and high in empathy instead, I think the world would be a far better place for it, x |
