I AM WHO I AM

Contributed by lil_hummingbird on Tuesday, 6th August 2002 @ 06:20:47 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I never try to be someone I am not
just plain ole me,
with a few weak spots
Speaking the truth,
even when it causes pain
Not knowing when to let go,
isnt that insane
Affraid of the dark,
not knowing whats there
Looking out a window,
seeing someone looking back with a stare
Feeding my flowers,
watching them grow
Not wanting winter to come,
not liking the snow
Crying in movies,
my favorite is GHOST
Mel Gibson's the actor I like the most
Watching the sun rise,
sitting out in my chair
Drinking my coffee,
hoping the day will be fair
Writing my poems,
even if they only make sense to me
Wanting someone's opinion,
even if they dont see what i see
I am who I am,
and that's how it will be
To old to change now,
cause it wouldnt be me
