I am the desert,
Desolate and useless.
My half-life of forever leaves the searing sun in ceaseless wakefulness.
But I am strong, I am eternity,
Though my pain and agony, you’ll never destroy me.
For I am the desert,
Bleak but strong within myself,
Livid by light, but tranquil by night,
But my half-life is forever...
And death longs for me, within his sights,
But I... No, I am the desert,
And my half-life is your failure.
