hurt,
love lost,
pain,
tears
are the things
that have formed my chains
to be bounded to a love
that showed so much promise
and yet
doesn't hold the patience
of a clock
to wait,
to help me,
to grow,
to see me blossom
into anew
and yet
and still
i will forever love you
