I should like to be the finest waiter-
unknown to the flawless meal.
I should like to be the unknown doctor;
to heal so fast the illness is never born.
I should like to be such a salesman;
the dotted line all but an afterthought.
I should like most to let loose of me;
but I would lose as much as I gain;
hence bursting free ever a willow-wisp be;
for it can't be had err' stained.

Shall we join you in your pursuit of pursuit?
To be so excellent that the outcome is a given!
Like you, I would yearn to return, for having won endlessly would turn all the colors to cellophane.
Where is the humanity in always winning you ask..
A worthy thought few of us will ever ponder, but for you Invierno!
You have set the table yet again with a mystery we all, in our hearts, know the answer to! Bravo!

I dig its simplicity but if you reread its not really shallow but very deep. Bravo! |

we should if we read
be thee best
we might imagine of ourselves
but never can be
which is if we read
the whole idyllic point
which never seems to
cross our silly minds
a perfect error of our ways
has never been seen
yet sits
still in Elliot
or in Matisse
or, say in dear old mom
and dad
or uncle bob
or God forbid
Stalin
or Jesus Christ/
it's up to us
just how things should sit
or not
a perfect waiter says
how do you like your food
while your mouth is full
no, wee wee
Ha Ha
Peace!
