Sometimes I see myself as intelligent
And sometimes I seem rather dumb
I complain of the bitter cold
And yet in it I stand, shaking and numb
I see a patch of ice that beckons me
To try and walk upon it
Even though I know the risks
Of the chance to slip and fall
And so I take that risk and step forth
That balanced step, feels rather nice
And so that's how you fit, in my winter world
My very own tempting patch of ice

This poem gave me a smile. Thank you. Oh, and I'd slip and fall...no doubt. Clumsy is my middle name.
Thanks for an enjoyable read.
