They said love doesn't exist
They swore on their lives it is extinct
But now I can see it so distinct
Even though your heart has been broken
You want to put it back in the game open
Willing to take every risk
You only get heartbroken once
Where you feel your heart is like mince
After that you are used to the experience
It all happened so fast
Didn't notice i was falling from the earth's crust
Falling in love not lust
That kind of love where you wish to be together till you turn into dust
Love which never gets worn out or rust
Even when you are far it will last

Makes me think of a deployed soldier and spouse newlyweds at the end. I can also relate with a few things, namely the heartbroken once, afraid to put the heart back out, but what shell I've developed, broke thanks to a lovely woman. She and I are no longer a pair, but I'll never forget her, thanks to what she's done for me. :) |
