Go to bed early
Don't stay up too late
I advise not to be tardy
For that dinner date
Even though I have
Say thank you and please
It's not a crime to clean on hands and knees
When you are wrong, admit it
When right, don't talk, quit it
Because I've carried on, and that's wrong
Open doors for others
And turn the lights off when you leave
No reason to waste energy or be first
And your baby or honey will get mean
Trust me, please
Be conscious of what you say
And clean up after yourself
And when asked to give the truth
Oh, please, do tell
Because luck is what happens when you are living right
