An epic kind of romance
a happy fulfilled life
Spanning cross the decade
spent as man and wife.
A daguerrean digest
the kind dreams are made of
Lovingly assembled
bearing witness to a love.
A clever kind of marketing
a most myopic ruse
Utopia turned dystopia
well hidden from public view.
Modus Operendi
adulterated truth
A daily dose of white-wash
keeps cracks from showing through.

Wouldn't it be the lovely to find stuff like this in the fine print
that nobody ever reads is what I thought when I read this...
all in all outcomes that just are so good
are worth all the practiced photographs
and all those sandwich packing vacations
to visit them, those relatives
"just me and you, and the kids, and the relatives again"
"yep yep"
Ah yes...
Nice write kmec, you are quick to the point always!
Peace!

Great stuff indeed K
To cope you often have to be numb to the truth. |

A daily dose of white wash
Shows we can't take the cover off
And reveal the truth
I don't know of many that can write who you just wrote.
Best,

"Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive".
Well written poem, full of naked truth.
Refreshing, yet forlorn.
