Silver Laughter

Contributed by iodinelove on Friday, 2nd January 2015 @ 11:59:47 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Standing at the seams of an endless sky
Night collapsed into the arms of the sun.

Reflecting the stars receding far above
Water stirred the sun.

Silver is the color of my love
I drink from the warmth of your light
Just as I drink from the light of the night sky
As she surrenders into dawn

The sun smiled at this
An autumnal twirl of color
Turning as she rose
Singing to herself

In my dreams
I am a mountain
A towering stone
Thirsty and alone
Until a new day approaches

Until the waters of a silver laughter
Dance across the dawn

Beautifully descriptive and enchanting. A thirsty mountain waiting for the moisture of dawn is a magnificent image.
