Mardi Gras?
Si, si;
slurp into a Hurricane, a shot mayhap i' whiskey?
No matter,
one can spletter splatter
anywhere-
Mardi Gras forgives much
these few days a year.
Shining when most less;
Debase ye' self, yes?
Okay, then,
comfortable in th' pack ye' be-
asses scrunched back to front,
and for what?
To see?
To feel abandon abandoned.
Hysteria, mania cut to loose-
an absolved excuse?
One so bold to claim an
Immaculate Misconception?
Beouf Gras fillet, 'fatted calf' Francaise
to knife'd slap,
for a day or so to wallow
in the herd of sweat to drip,
stumble and follow.
