Emptiness
Sadness
Where is the thing meant to fill me?
What has happened to make it disappear?
Was a there a word which was spoken, a action that wasn’t pleasing?
This feeling which has never been present, presents itself for the first time.
Coping will be the journey that ends this.
But which path is the clearest?
Which path is the quickest?
Which path ensures this process next time will be… not as bad.

Bravo! The answer to your last question is "experience". Coping loses its madness through repetition. Ask anyone who has been divorced more than twice; or had 3 kids;
Wish we had road signs to point us to the right path, but as you point out, coping is different for each and every one of us.
"Where is this thing meant to fill me?" is my favorite line! Promise you this--it will be easier next time!
