What happened to Goliath

Contributed by Beyfoxman5 on Tuesday, 16th December 2014 @ 05:41:01 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

There were two men with different tails of the tape
results of their battle brings out feelings I can't escape
David beat his ###, I can't deny this
But did you ever ask yourself what happened to Goliath?

Did he cover his wounds with strands of duct tape?
And did he get a flat tire while escaping from the shame?
Is he fairly ripped, for an old hag?
Or is he what you call, a classic fat bag?

Oh, my word, what happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?

Oh, my word, what happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?

Is he in overalls at home on the range?
Or did he go to doc and get a sex change?
Is he looking svelt, with many house pets?
Or has he been road hard, and hung up wet?

Does he frequent bars, watering holes and saloons?
And get plastered drunk, listening to tunes?
Is he a man that gets up early to fish?
Or is he in agony when he gets up to ####?

Oh, my word, what happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?

Oh, my word, what happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?
What happened to Goliath?

Did he get married, in a private ceremony
Is he divorced twice, and paying alimony?
Does he find his past hard to escape?
And is he making big bucks in real estate?

So many scenarios, I don't know where start?
Did he find a hubby, to mend his broken heart?
This thought swims in my mind, where is he now?
Heck, he earned his name, and to him I bow!

Interesting question. I read a book (maybe Anne Rice?) that took the perspective of Judas Iscariot. From one point of view, the guy got the royal &** screw of all time. He didn't ASK to betray Jesus. It was his destiny to do so. Given the premise, we can only sympathize with him as one would a victim of circumstance.

Nicely done on tapping a heady subject.

Interesting write. . .of course he's dead. . . having a stone sink inches into your head will do that.
