The Oldest Living Child
______________________
get it. give it. grab it. go.
need it? not me. never. no.
breaking out of broken down,
freaking out with a frozen frown.
backwards, blind, bound and bled...
slightly not-right in the head.
so burn it all. build it back, then burn it all again
on and on. day in, day out-grin. sin. blend in,
then end it all. don't hesitate. do it with some style.
suicide by time, the Oldest Living Child...
burn it up, burn it down, a sickle side to side...
the Oldest Living Child, the Last Unborn Who Never Died.

You got some talent, kid. Lump this reader into the "love it" category.
Right from the first line you keep me off balance and breathlessly wanting to know what's next. Very effective format, and the idea of "suicide by time"... So vastly under explored in poetry. A perfect way to put it.
Keep 'em coming.
P.s thank you for commenting on a poem that is special to me.

Sometimes we cannot explain why we like sumthin, we just do. Is an explanation needed or required. Naaaa...I don't think so. .
I dig it too. It would make a great son.
