True Love
The truest of love can quench any thirst,
It means always put your loved one first.
True Love will always give more than it takes,
And it never makes a promise it will break.
Through good and bad true love will be persistent,
And though it's hard to believe it knows no distance.
True Love is felt in every instance of life,
In the early morning sun and darkness of night.
Not requiring one's actual physical touch,
True Love reminds you you're loved so much.
Striving every day to make you smile,
Even if separated by thousands of miles.
A feeling that makes you feel completely whole,
True Love is embedded deep within your soul.
While I am away holding you as you sleep,
My heart and soul forever yours to keep.
In everything that you see and you do,
True Love will be a constant reminder to you.
That you are loved and greatly missed,
And yours are the only lips I long to kiss.
It's a thousand kisses before the break of day,
True Love's heart can never be swayed.
So to the whole world I proudly proclaim,
I know True Love, and Maria is her name.
