Whenever you say my name I can't
help but notice how fast my throat
closes, my hands make fists and
fast my heart beats as if it is
the backing track to screams.
After all I have spent to long
looking for the trap door, the
ejector seat or how far is the window
to the ground so I can dive through it.

I can longer be the monster you created,
I do not belive in magic but I can't deny the magic
that I am nothing like you, I will continue
to ignore your screams that echo in my mind.

Funny how the heart stops beating last,
yet I will remember the weight of a heart of
stone even after the rest of my body still
continues to dance.

I know these last words will follow you into
the dark, somehow after all things said
and done, I would not dare die
without saying goodbye.
