Killing all Softly Over Lies

Nothings changed anyways...

It is like a same old song but with more toys
The longing we searched for
Servitude with a plastic smile
That's what were here for
Or so what we are told to believe

One way or the highway mister god doesn't like sinners...
Actually he does not like people like you
That feed on hate and prescribed pills
Numbing the pain has never felt so guilt free
And the circus goes round and round

Same old guilt as yesterday
Older lies of someone else's doing
Blame even easier to swallow
The eyes are upon the unknown sky
Even science wonders why
It all seems fishy to me
Just more kings on swings getting us to push them around
All in the name of society and the american dream

One of dogs and freedom lost
And we are all wide awake
We're just all to afraid to say
We have our own problems to worry about
But well all say a prayer
And maybe a facebook share
Wondering when things will get better
The call of equality from the poor still not shared
Everyone wants to be rich
As the fat cats laugh
Pictures shared around the world
A viral drug for the masses
Color blind and lost on time
Still acting like you had a choice on life
The color of your skin...

Well welcome to the real world buddy
A world where we all come in screaming wondering why
Color blind and cold
All the same
Not one thought of sex gender and label marked
Not one pink or blue care to give
Nothing warmer then mothers love...
Well maybe if she was off her phone for five minutes

Still love is free
As anger solves nothing but violence
Haven't enough people been hurt
We must be accountable for our own actions
Each and everyone of else
Since we keep killing ourselves over lies
And trickeled down wealth

I believe you really have a way with words. I really like how you explain a feeling of a person here. It could use some work, but all in all, you have the ability to write some awesome poetry.
