My skin is like paper
It's been torn and frayed
With a pen like a razor
But I swear it's all okay
Because...
In the dark I will shine
Recovering the strength that I hide
I will lacerate the demons inside
And heal my wounded mind
With a weapon of words
I will shoot metaphorical terms
Shadow warrior...I shall fight
I will watch this world burn
With joy in my heart and a smile of delight
In my mind I've gone astray
Like a prayer lost in flight
Fallen between the cracks, down the drain
I'm completely out of sight.
I found my vellum savior
A wrinkled lady made of eyes
She whispered to me my failure
"Your life is a lie"
Oh sweet paper Messiah
Give me one more chance on life
I will prove to you, that none of you
Can destroy this impregnated mind.
In my mind I've gone astray
Like a prayer lost in flight
Fallen between the cracks, down the drain
I'm completely out of sight.

This has such a brilliant title. I had to read it. It comes out very sing songy. I love it. And yes, it has a powerful message.
