Some are brave
Some are born with what it takes
Others find their breeze
In the clouds
Dreaming of perfection
While ignoring reality
A semblance of love
Comes knocking at your door
You don't recognize it
Yet you open wide
Draw jaw dropped
Cherry fisted popped
A sucker
You usher it inside
A welcome mat
Hides your dirt
Feeds your pride
Confidence in yourself
Misleads itself
Under the guise
Of individuality
A persona quickly dies
You were you
That I can't deny
Here I stay seated
Feet clamped to your rug
Waiting for you to make an entrance
I hear you knocking with your love

So much content to explore...and ponder. How do we know if we are part of the brave, or the ignorant? At times both can seem daunting. I also like the concept of 'ushering in a semblance of love'. That's never a fun reality, but you leave the reader with the hope of something real waiting, patiently.
Don't get me started on the title...Wonderfully electric.
