It's precarious,
On the edge.
The edge of all-in, or abandon ship
Lay the cards down and fold, or let 'er rip
I am not equipped.
Life jacket
Preserved for the deserved, that can stack it
I am in the crosshairs of your bracket
No-limit, shipmate
Or, shipwreck.
Is it a royal flush, or hit the deck?
Capsized in your wake; or should I just check.

And I am in the crosshairs of your poetry.
Heck, #### your pants, dive in, and swim.
Such a cool, rich read.
Best,

"Capsized in your wake"
Good poem. I like the line above and enjoyed the overall content and direction.

I cannot express to you the immense joy I felt from reading this. I smiled the whole way through, like an idiot. I always like your poems where each stanza has its own mini theme and the whole poem is based on one main theme. you are a great poet! |
